This album features Return to Forever, an influential American jazz fusion band founded by pianist Chick Corea in 1972. With bassist Stanley Clarke as the only consistent member alongside Corea, the band played a pivotal role in the jazz-fusion movement of the 1970s. Return to Forever featured a rotating lineup of talented musicians, including Flora Purim, Airto Moreira, and Al Di Meola, who all gained prominence through their performances with the band.
