Description
This album features Tommy Roe, a renowned singer-songwriter born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He first gained recognition with his original song "Sheila" in 1960, which he re-recorded for ABC-Paramount in 1962, propelling him to further success. Roe had several Top 10 hits in the 1960s, including "Everybody" and "The Folk Singer". In 1969, his song "Dizzy" topped charts in the UK, Canada, and the US, selling millions of copies and earning him multiple gold records. Despite the decline in popularity of his music style in the 1970s, Roe continued to perform and record, receiving recognition from the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. He announced his retirement in 2018.
