The Pinups - The Pinups [CD]

This album features a collection of tracks from the early '80s by this female disco/pop/new wave vocal quartet. The Pinups released two albums in Europe. Their second European album, Hollywood Eyes (1981), made up a majority of their U.S. self-titled release. This collection features the tracks from that U.S. album plus tracks from their EU releases. 

Tony Carey wrote many of the songs on their first and second albums and Peter Hauke (Planet P Project) produced them. The group initially featured vocalists
June LaVonne, April Clough, Susanne Tarleton, Kim McLeroy, who were replaced on the second album by Glynnis Talken, Lisa London, Tegan and Mary Senecal.

"Just About A Dream" and "New Wave Lover" were impactful music videos and radio hits.
